Payment. We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards. When you click on "Purchase" at the checkout, you offer to buy the Goods at the prices indicated including any delivery charges that apply to your purchase. All orders will be subject to these conditions.
If your order is accepted, you will be notified of this soon after you submit your order by clicking "Purchase". As the confirmation is sent to you automatically, an error may have been made of which we are not aware despite our best efforts. Because of this, we retain the right to cancel the order as set out under the "Cancellation" heading.
Delivery. For deliveries of furniture items that are in-stock, please allow 21 days within the M25 and 28 days outside the M25. We regret we cannot guarantee delivery on specified days but we aim to notify customers in advance of their alloted delivery day.
For items remporarily out-of-stock, delivery may be between 8-12 weeks. In these cases, customers will be notified by telephone. For out of stock items, a deposit of 40 per cent will be taken with the balance taken 14 days prior to delivery. (Important: All our furniture is made by craftsmen in Indonesia and shipped by sea to the UK. While we strive to provide customers with accurate turnaround times between order and delivery, these lead times are approximate and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.)
Customers are responsible for ensuring access points at the delivery address are large enough to enable the safe delivery of all items. For insurance reasons, our delivery team is not permitted to haul items over balconies or through windows.
Our delivery team will endeavour to deliver an item to a nominated room. If, however, in their opinion an item cannot be delivered into a nominated room without risk of injury to themselves or damage to property or furniture, the item will be left elsewhere at the delivery address. Furnituretc will happily return any item that does not fit to our warehouse for a £40 delivery charge. Such returned items will be replaced with a credit note or an alternative item.
Prices are valid until 31st January 2007. Every care has been taken to ensure that all descriptions, measurements, colours and prices are correct. Measurements given are approximate. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of colour reproduction, colour may vary in accordance the settings of your monitor, software, or printer. As most items are hand-made from natural materials there will be slight variations from item to item.
In the event a Furnituretc product is listed at an incorrect price due to technical error or error in pricing information, Furnituretc shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Furnituretc shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Furnituretc shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Cancellations. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any item or service, apart from items personalised for you. You may cancel your order by sending us a letter, fax or e-mail cancellation at any time up to and including the seventh day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) after the day on which you receive your purchase. To contact us for this purpose please call 020 8876 9990. If you exercise your statutory rights to cancel you must immediately return the unwanted items following the instructions below.
Guarantee. We hope you will love your Furnituretc purchase, but if you find it unsuitable or are not entirely satisfied, provided you notify us within 7 days and return it to us within 28 days unused and in its original packaging and in perfect condition, you will be entitled to a refund or replacement. Please ensure that it is packed and labeled carefully so that it is not damaged or lost in transit as the goods are at your risk until they are returned to us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no amendments will be accepted by us.
All Furnituretc's furniture is made by hand - indentations, colour variations and pit marks should be viewed as part of the inherent character of these products, and not faults. No two items in our range are identical. All our timber is well-seasoned, but as with all solid timber products, our furniture should not be exposed to extremes of heat or cold. Do not place furniture over or next to working radiators (a distance of 1 metre away is recommended) and do not expose furniture to direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Never place hot items such as saucepans or cups of hot tea or coffee directly on to the timber surface. Our furniture is not designed for outside use and is not appropriate for use in conservatories.
